What We Do

By promoting partnerships between Indiana schools, various state agencies, and other support organizations, the Center on Community Living and Careers (CCLC) is committed to bringing positive change to people with disabilities and their families as they work and participate in their communities.

We focus on career development, secondary education and transition to adult life and services, person-directed planning, benefits, community inclusion, and systems and policy analysis.

What’s New at CCLC

Webinar on New DESOS Data Collection

CCLC director Teresa Grossi recently hosted a webinar for organizations providing day and employment services to people with disabilities. The Day and Employment Services Outcomes System (DESOS), which collects annual data on where individuals with disabilities spend their day, has been updated to include easier-to-use features and enhanced security measures. In case you missed the live presentation, the webinar will be online through the end of May. For more information, click here.

Updated Work Incentive Fact Sheets

We’ve reformatted and updated our fact sheets on Social Security work incentives and other resources. The fact sheets include new information and explanations on everything from Impairment-Related Work Expenses to 2013 thresholds for Substantial Gainful Activity.
